The 25/15 & 25/25
Our entry level “Plug&Play” backup systems, the Beta 25/15 and Beta 25/25 offer the same reliable backup power as the Alpha series, but they are not fitted with solar chargers and only have AC outlets. There are only two modes of operation.
- Use for medical equipment, smart house control and monitoring systems, security systems, tropical fish tanks, appliances, refrigerators, sump pumps, small air-conditioners, and more.
- Plug them into any outlet and plug your appliances into them. They will provide automatic backup power when there is a power failure.
- Ideal for vacation homes or for automatic protection when you are away on vacation.
- Charge them and put them away in a closet. Pull them out to provide power during a power outage.
- You can also charge them and take them on a picnic, to the beach, or to any outdoor worksite.
Both the Beta 25/15 and the Beta 25/25 have a 2500 Watt-hour battery. The also have a 110 VAC input cord with standard plug, two 110 VAC outlets totaling 13 Amps, a built-in 5 Amp charger. and built-in backup circuitry for inline connection. If the grid power fails, the battery switches on automatically.
The Beta 25/15 has a 1,500 Watt pure sine wave inverter which will power medical equipment, home monitoring and control equipment, and most appliances.
The Beta 25/25 has a 2,500 Watt inverter designed to handle higher inductive loads, and will run refrigerators, sump pumps, window air-conditioners, and can even be hard-wired for smaller well pumps and furnaces. The Beta 25/25 has the option of an additional single hard-wired output terminal, and a connection for a second battery, to double capacity.
